hiccups

they always say life is full of hard knocks.
who are they to say that.. who are they to judge.. who are THEY?
"they" can be many things. the association which marks your O level results, the people who interview you, people older dan you by day, months, years. "they" could also be people younger than you..

sometimes to view things the way someone younger than you does help. adult politics is definately something i dont really wish to venture into. sometimes i cant understand why a certain group of people behave that way. they think they are superior than the rest of the bunch with their money, their house and their cars. yes its true indeed that they have a much powerful spending power. but if you were to talk about truly superior in life. i think it'd be the ones they think they've won.. ironic but true. anw, its rather interesting how traditional family lines carry on. there is alsomuch sparked speculation about the japan thing between the crown princess masoko and the other princess. didnt really catch the name. but here's what i discovered for chinese traditional families. why is sth i really didnt know.. quite interesting to have shed some light for my knowledge on this upon learning about cheryl's problem.

lets say ur grandpa and grandma has 4 children. your auntie, your dad, your uncle, your auntie. (in birth order)
your 1st auntie is childless.
your dad has a daughter (18) and a son (15)
your uncle has a son (19) and a daughter (17)
your auntie has a daughter (10) and a son (8)

so choy if one of them pass away without a will. who is the biggest grandchild who will get the inheritance? it should be your uncle's son right? since he's the eldest? no.. its your dad's 15yr old son.. amazingly right? the one that hold's your grandparents pic will also be your dad. but if your dad has no sons, den the one who is the biggest grandchild wil then be your uncle's son.. (19).

amazing.. (: i thought it was jus matchin to age. but there's more than that.. traditions are what most people of our generation are dyin to break free from.. no more visitin during chinese new year. jus us and our friends.. but yet, these are the ties that bind or break a family. to have an internal conflict happening within a family is horrible.. its very true what cheryl said to her unreasonable auntie who thinks that they shld be the biggest as her husband is the first son but yet they din bore a son. she has done her duty of informing you. and its not her fault that the rest of the family din wait for you - cuz ure jus plain detestful. and her concern, is not if u visit her dad or not. is whether her dad is out of danger and is recovering. so really, get a life and dont make a big pussy fuss out of nth. really. if stoopin at your level is the only thing that will shoo u out of the hospital ward, i will do that the next time i see u. no matter how it makes me look, cuz its the only solution (:

man, im waiting like a nervous bitch for my results. and im not feelin good enough for work today. so i might be catchin a movie with my maid. haha. memoirs of a geisha.. shld i?????? hahaa.
